Winter Cookie Sales begin again to benefit Civil Rights Groups

Bryan/College Station, TX – Katy Stewart, board member of Equality Texas and Transgender Education Network of Texas is raising funds for GLBT civil rights advocacy via an extended winter cookie sale.
For sale will be some of Katy’s famous Kaloried Creations – a sugar cookie in vibrant rainbow colors with chocolate bark bottom coating and hand colored sugar crystal topping. Also offered are oatmeal cookies by request as well as diabetic pecan pies based on a recipe she received from attending “Do Well, Be Well” diabetic cooking classes offered by Texas A&M’s Agrilife Extension

  • extra large container - $75

Oatmeal cookies - $25 / dozen
Diabetic Pecan Pie - $25

Proceeds benefit:
20% of all sales will go to cover overhead such as supplies, containers, etc.
80% of all sales will be donated to civil rights advocacy groups in Texas including:

·         Transgender Education Network of Texas
·         ALLGO, a queer people of color organization
